No. 345 - Old Fourth Ward Townhouse

Virginie did a fantastic job designing spaces in our home. She was able to get a great idea of our style (which even we have trouble describing) and provide options that were not only within our budget but we loved. (…) We also loved that she didn’t push styles onto us, she provided options and her opinion, but ultimately respected our decisions. All in all, Virginie was a wonderful professional to work with and we would hire her again in a heartbeat.

From her initial consultation to the final “after” photo shoot, Virginie provided a fun, inspiring, clear and seamless experience. She is very transparent about her services and costs. She listens to what you want and can translate very vague thoughts and preferences into a beautiful selection of options. She is very cognizant of budget for services and materials. She also was the key to communicating with the contractor for someone like me who has no experience in doing so. (…) Thrilled with the results!

No. 404 - Grant Park Bungalow

I brought A Curated Room in to help us make our TV room convert to a guest bedroom when we had out-of-town guests in. (…) The room went from one we really didn't enjoy being in, to a room that my husband and I both gravitate to. We needed it to be a welcoming guest room, but in the process it became a really nice TV room for us too! I just enjoy walking past it in the morning and looking in - it makes me happy! Plus working with her was a very nice experience, and the cost was quite reasonable.

We’ve worked with Virginie on numerous projects over the last 4 years. When we first decided to hire a designer, we were very overwhelmed, given we had just moved from a small apartment to a house. Virginie was professional, patient and hands-on every step of the way. She is a fantastic communicator and walked us through each step and kept us on track. As two working parents with small children, we needed assistance managing the project and Virginie made the entire process seamless. She is a consummate professional and extremely talented at her craft. Virginie was thoughtful about our design preferences and goals, but also took the opportunity to introduce ideas that we wouldn’t have considered, but are glad we did! Most importantly to us, she’s always given us the attention and support we need, for both large and small projects. We can’t wait to work with her again!
