Color/Finishes & Materials Selection

We aim to create a harmonious and cohesive design that reflects the intended atmosphere and style, enhances the experience but also ensures longevity and performance.

Furnishings & Fixtures Selection

We curate and select pieces that define the character and purpose of a space while contributing to its aesthetic harmony and visual storytelling. That includes furniture, lighting, rugs, objets & art, custom window treatments and textile.

We can complete your space with all the necessities such as bedding, bath linen, kitchenware, storage solutions and technology; giving you a fully functional and move-in ready space.

Feng Shui & Wellness Integration

We apply key Feng Shui principles to ensure we achieve a balanced and harmonious space.

We also incorporate wellness-focused elements such as curated fragrances to enhance your surroundings and cultivate a holistic environment.

Upholstery & Bespoke Furniture/Cabinetry Design

We work with artisans and makers to create custom furniture and cabinetry, tailored to a client’s specific needs and preferences. This allows us to provide unique, bespoke design solutions.

OUR STEP-BY-STEP DESIGN PROCESS

INITIAL CONSULTATION

We meet (on-site when possible) to discuss your project’s scope, get an idea of your lifestyle and aesthetic preferences, go over general functional requirements, and talk through budget and timeline expectations.
This is also an opportunity to discuss our design process and next steps as well as ensure a strong designer-client chemistry before moving forward.
CLIENT ONBOARDING

Upon the signature of our design agreement we collect a retainer for our fees.
The agreement will outline payment schedule, deliverables and our Terms & Conditions, as well as your project scope and budget.
At this stage, we ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire and, if needed, return to survey the site. If you have architectural drawings, we will request copies at this stage.
CONCEPTUAL DESIGN

We begin the creative process by presenting our initial vision for your space, including key statement pieces as well as concepts for color schemes, textures, architectural details, and overall ambiance.
This helps align our ideas with yours and ensures we're in sync before moving forward to the detailed design phase.
SCHEMATIC DESIGN

Based on the established scope and vision, we get to work designing your space(s).
This phase takes several weeks, during which we think through each bespoke design element and gather all the pieces that will bring the vision together, from wall colors to large furniture items and down to the finishing touches like linens, fragrances and decorative objects.
PRESENTATION & REVISIONS

We will then present our design to you, using floor plans, elevations, renderings, visual boards and samples. We can either come to your home or schedule a virtual meeting.
You will be given a digital copy of the presentation to think it through. Samples can also be ordered for you.
This is the time to make any modifications to make sure the overall design is just right before we start executing it.
PROCUREMENT & CD SET

During this phase we send out a proposal allowing you to formally finalize the approval of each item presented.
We collect payment and start placing orders.
In parallel, based on the approved design, we compile information needed for contractors to provide you with their bids. We will assist you in reviewing those bids.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & SITE COORDINATION

We now track each item to ensure it arrives at our partner receiving warehouse in a timely fashion.
We simultaneously monitor the foundation work performed by contractors—plumbing, electrical, wallpaper application, millwork installation …—by conducting site visits based on the scope of your project, all to ensure the work is being executed according to our specifications.
INSTALLATION, STYLING & PHOTOSHOOT

Finally, much like a glorified move-in day, under our supervision, the installation crew will thoughtfully place every piece of furniture, art and objets.
All the details and final touches come together to bring the original vision to life.
Once complete, we arrange a photoshoot session to professionally capture the finished space(s).
